Floor Types

Carpet
The Orbot low-moisture system has been engineered to clean any type of carpet, in any situation and also leave it as dry as possible so it is ready to use immediately.

Have you ever walked into an airport, hotel hallway or room, and smelled a dingy humid scent because the carpet had been recently cleaned and over-wet? Did you see a number of fans blowing on the floor? Was the carpet truly clean or was it still gray and dull in appearance? Are these signs of a healthy, clean, and safe environment?

The ORBOT system was designed in mind to support a healthy indoor environment. Carpets will simply be clean, vibrant in color, and dry within minutes. The system will eliminate the most common problems caused by other cleaning methods that lead to mold growth, mildew, volatile organic compounds (VOC), insufficient drying times, recurring stains, and safety hazards.

ORBOT's unique low-moisture system uses 10 times less the amount of water opposed to other water extraction methods. Therefore, over-wet carpets will never be an issue. The problems associated with over-wet carpets are intensified in a heavily used setting. Over-wet carpets require longer drying times. This can cause large sections of a building to be blocked off for extended periods of time. Especially in a school, hospital, or commercial building this can lead to serious safety issues. People walking from a wet or damp carpet directly onto a hard-surface floor can slip or fall. Also, wet carpets that are walked on will almost always resoil more quickly. This is because the chemicals and moisture act as a magnet, pulling dirt and debris into the carpet fibers.

Of much greater concern, the long drying time increases the likelihood that mold and mildew will develop, seriously jeopardizing indoor air quality and potentially harming occupant health. With longer drying times, and if traditional carpet cleaning chemicals are used, there is a greater possibility that gases and volatile organic compounds will be released into the air. This can cause allergic reactions and respiratory problems, especially for young children.

Simply put, what falls to the floor like common dust, pollutants and many things that we breathe, tends to stay on the floor until it is cleaned. Tile & Grout
What cleans the tile and grout so fast, effectively, and without the use of excessive water and harsh chemicals? The engineering behind the Orbot, Brush, and Weight Kit. The Orbot generates thousands of miniature orbits that scrub together with the brush. Imagine a giant orbiting toothbrush that is soft enough that it will not scratch the floors yet is effective enough to scrub away grease and grime from the pores and crevices found in ceramic tile and grout. Together adding the weight kit with the brush and orbital action of the Orbot, the bristles are pushed down into these pores and crevices lifting away immediately the dirt and grime.

Stone
The newly redesigned StoneFlash pads are part of a 6 step system for grinding, honing, and polishing Marble, terrazzo, travertine, limestone, and more! Our low-moisture, orbital cleaning system, Orbot can take on any floor and StoneFlash pads make stone floor restoration even easier.

Epoxy
The engineering and design behind the Orbot, brush, SuperZorb Pads and Weight Kit clean and scrub quickly and effectively without the use of excessive water or harsh chemicals. The Orbot generates thousands of miniature orbits that scrub together with the brush. Imagine a giant orbiting toothbrush that is soft enough that it will not scratch the floors yet is effective enough to scrub away grease and grime from the pores and crevices found in epoxy flooring. Together adding the weight kit to the orbital action of the Orbot, the bristles are pushed down into these pores and crevices lifting away immediately the dirt and grime.

Vinyl
Stripping and maintaining VCT and vinyl floors has never been easier and more environmentally safe until now! The Orbot's unique orbital action makes it possible to strip wax with very little water only! Help conserve water and avoid the use of harsh chemicals that damage the environment and the health of yours and others. Because the Orbot’s driver head is free floating, live stress free without ever worrying about swirl marks and gouges that other traditional machines leave behind. And because the Orbot is unique in design, forever forget about the use of a skirt as the Orbot does will not spit and fling wax and grime onto baseboards, walls, and furniture.

Concrete
When it comes to scrubbing and cleaning concrete surfaces such as school hallways, patios, and other types of high traffic concrete flooring, the Orbot performs miraculously. Eliminate having to use harsh chemicals and an abundance of water to remove the heavy soil that has settled deep down in the concrete pores and crevices. Simply mount the scrub brush with the weight kit, and witness the orbital action pick and lift away the grease and grime in a matter of seconds!

Wood
The Orbot is ideally suited for cleaning, sanding, scrubbing, and waxing wood floors or decking. Because the Orbot’s driver head is free floating, you can live stress free without ever worrying about swirl marks and gouges that other traditional machines leave behind. The Orbot’s orbital actions allows for perfection and ease when it comes to maintaining wood floors fast and effectively.

Other Surfaces
Urethane, rubber matting, and other soft to medium-hard floor surfaces found in outdoor hotel hallways, garages, gymnasiums, and so forth in many cases are interesting enough to clean as most traditional machines dispense too much water and are unfortunately aggressive and destructive. Because the Orbot’s unique engineering generates thousands of miniature orbits, the use of little water is required. The fast orbital action together using the weight kit, scrub brush, SuperZorb Pads and or AgiClean Pads break down dirt and grime instantly allowing little water to be used therefore the floors are left clean and dry within minutes!
