V4™️ is version 4 of The Reach & Wash System first launched in 1997.
The V4™️ truck-mount pure water professional window cleaning system has seen significant improvements over the lifespan of its development. 10% weight reduction and a lower center of gravity has improved vehicle handling.
It boasts tech options to improve filter performance, RO membrane life and water quality.
Tech Features:
- PFS™️ Periodic Flush System - On start up this feature automatically flushes the Reverse Osmosis Membrane for a period of 2 minutes. Thereafter the RO flushes for 2 minutes every hour during the filling process.
- ROMS™️ Reverse Osmosis Maintenance System - At the end of each tank fill, pure water is diverted to the RO membrane housing. Leaving the RO membrane bathing in pure water between fills ensures that dissolved solids (found in tap water) do not foul the membrane. Further, dissolved solids that are not removed from the membrane surface during Periodic Auto Flush cycles are absorbed by the pure water during the "rest period" to be flushed away during the first flush on startup.
- PDI™️ - Perpetual De-ionization - This feature considerably extends DI resin contact time. Ultra purification is achieved by repeated exposure of purified water to the final DI polishing stage.

DiFuse is Ionic's cold pure water delivery truck-mount delivery system. Designed for quick pure water filling from a static water treatment system or emergency filling from a main water supply.
FUSE™️ (11 MEGΩ) (No Pump)
The FUSE™️ is a high performance, fully automatic, full five-stage RO/DI system. Fully automated fill with PFS™️ and PDI™️ are standard. Pure water production is up to 3 liters per minute dependent on the main water supply.
FUSION™️ (12 MEGΩ) (Pump)
FUSION™️ is a high performance, fully automatic five-stage RO/DI system with boosted fill, PFS™️, ROMS™️, & PDI™️ as standard features. Pure water production up to 3 liters per minute at maximum operating pressure of 80 psi.
FUSION™️ S (Pump)
FUSION™️ S is an ultra high performance system designed for the most demanding customers as well as the world's hottest climates. Fully automatic five-stage RO/DI system with boosted fill, PFS™️, ROMS™️, & PDI™️ as standard features and has stainless steel filter housings. Pure water production is up to 5 liters per minute at maximum operating pressure of 160 psi.
V4™️ THERMOPURE
The new V4™️ THERMOPURE fills the gap between Ionic's Zero™️ with zero Parts Per Billion (PPB) water quality and Ionic's cold water V4™️ The system provides a hot water experience. Previously your only option was to add the Ionic HotBox™️ alongside your system. Now it's a fully integrated hot water, pure water experience.
V4™️ STATIC
The V4™️ STATIC system does not contain any water storage. It is a delivery system only. The S version has a stainless steel container for the RO Membrane (the other canisters are Polyethylene. A fully stainless steel version is available (all canisters in stainless steel), please speak to your sale rep to get a custom quote.
The MEG Ω Difference

Simple Installation and Connectivity
Mounting in a Pickup Truck-
A fitting kit is not required for Portage™ tanks that are carried in pickup vehicles. It is however recommended that Portage™ tanks that completely fill the load space are selected. Although it is not a requirement, it is also recommended that Portage™ tanks are secured with ‘tie-down’ straps when transported in pickup type vehicles. If tie-down straps are not used then it is recommended to use wooden blocks to prevent lateral and front to back movement of the tank
Mounting in a Van or on a flatbed trailer-
It must be understood that in the event of a head-on collision an unsecured heavy load need only move the driver and passenger seats forward a small distance for the pre-tensioned seat belts to cause fatal compression injuries. For this reason a Portage™ fitting kit must be installed by a competent person in all vans even when a bulkhead is present. In the event of a head on collision the fitting kits resists the forward movement of the Portage™ tank. The fitting instructions must be followed in every detail.
12 Volt Connection-
Bearing in mind the demountable nature of the Portage™ tank system, the standard 12v connection is made by means of a quick connect fly-lead that plugs into the cigarette lighter. For more permanent installations are intended other more robust 12v power sources with split charging and quick connections are available as optional extras.

The 211 gallon (800L) size Portage is designed with a top cover (with storage compartments) and has enough room to mount two hose reels towards the back of the unit.
Because the 105 gallon (400L) size Portage is shorter it does not have the same room to accommodate the hose reels so we have designed an optional custom size cover that has the ability to mount hose reels. This is an optional item, sold separately. Please ask your Clean Direct Rep for details.

In-line water softeners are highly recommended for use in hard water areas. TDS readings over 200 would be considered hard water area.

Portage™️ is the perfect solution for a safe, de-mountable pure water window cleaning filtration system. Designed for professional window cleaners, this system easily slides in-and-out of your van or truck in a couple of minutes thus freeing up your vehicle for other needs.
This low-profile tank is available in:
- 105 gallons (400 liter)
- 211 gallons (800 liter)
Simply undo the battery quick connector, remove the mounting pin and the tank can be portaged out of your van and stored until needed for the next days work.
Configurations
Portage™ is available in a number of different specifications. The following two configurations suit the North American market.
Portage Delivery- Designed as a pure water delivery system (only) for quick pure water filling from a static water treatment system. Does not have any filtration features, simply designed for delivery with tank and pump.
Portage Fusion- Designed as a high-performance, fully automatic five-stage RO/DI system with 240vv mains powered boosted fill, PFS™️, ROMS™️, & PDI™️ are all standard features. (Pure water production up to 3 liters per minute dependent on mains water supply)

Ergonomic Design
The ergonomic design provides easy access to controls for easy operation and to the filter system for ease of maintenance. We’ve incorporated a handy tool tray for water fed poles, window cleaning tools and drinks cans.
Both the 158 Gallon & 211 gallon tanks have mounting points for the optional multi-position stainless steel hose reels. These are positioned for easy access via the side loading doors.
Unlike other flat tank systems, the underside of the Portage™ tank has been carefully designed to ensure that 100% of tank capacity runs to the 12v delivery pumps. So unless you’re parked on a steep incline you’ll be able to use every drop of the tanks water capacity even when the water level is low.

Built with Safety In Mind
Window cleaner safety has always been our highest priority. The Portage™ design was inspired after re-watching hours of crash test footage from our 2003 Thatcham crash test program. The lifting forces generated during a certain phase of a head on crash are considerable. For that reason most of the clamping on our other FMVSS-208 tested designs can be found at the rear of the framework. In a head on crash with Portage™ fitted in a van the absence of clamps at the rear of the tank allows the tank to lift and be arrested by the roof of the van instead. The dimensions of the tank and the FMVSS-208 brackets that fix the tank securely to the chassis at the front combine to prevent the heavy water filled tank from colliding with the driver and passenger seats to avoid fatal crush injuries. The benefit of this design is that whilst security is maintained the tank can be removed in minutes leaving the vehicle free for other uses.
Mounting in a Pickup Truck-
A fitting kit is not required for Portage™ tanks that are carried in pickup vehicles. It is however recommended that Portage™ tanks that completely fill the load space are selected. The Ionic Systems Disinfector is a vehicle mounted, high-capacity system for environmental cleaning and disinfection procedures. It facilitates rapid and thorough disinfection of environmental surfaces with water and hospital grade disinfectants such as Sodium Hypochlorite at 0.1% or greater.
Ionic’s Disinfector System comes in three sizes with a top capacity of 264 Gallons (1000 Liters). In operation the Disinfector can treat up to 6500 sq. ft. (600 sqm) per hour by a single operator. Up to four operatives may be deployed from a single van mounted system giving a working time of 2-3 hours before replenishing the storage tank with water.
For working at height spray application can be carried out up to 65 feet (20mtrs) from the safety of the ground using light weight composite telescopic poles. Hand held lances can be used for application up to 10 feet (3 mtrs). A range of up to 656 ft (200mtrs) in every direction is possible from a parked and secured vehicle with remote control as required. The system uses trusted 12v pumps and control system; chemical dosing takes place post pump to ensure reliability of the entire system.

Unit price perThe Ionic Systems ThermoWash™️ Hot Softwashing System is a compact vehicle-mounted machine that delivers excellent cleaning results due to the combination of purified water and heat. It comes as a 211 Gallon (800 Liter) sized tank system.
Most other soft wash systems use cold, unpurified water, normally drawn from the spigot. In this scenario the chemicals used in the cleaning process have to overcome the minerals in the water; therefore, more chemical is needed than necessary, particularly in hard-water areas. This drives up chemical costs and drives more pollution.
During the colder months and especially when heavy soil is encountered the answer for most soft washers is to add more chemical, which leads to more neutralizer, time and water for rinsing. All of these additions drive up overall job costs.
ThermoWash™️ easily achieves the optimal temperature of 131º to 140º. This drastically improves the effectiveness of pure water when combined with pure water and the right cleaning agent. This delivers superior cleaning results with less environmental impact.
The operator can draw up to four separate chemicals or detergents and set chemical mixes at his desired strength based upon the specific application. The chemicals are mixed inline with the pure water after the pump so no chemicals come in contact with the pump. This eliminates the need to flush the pump.
As a window cleaning system, ThermoWash™️ is a fully automatic four stage RO/DI system with PFS™️ (Periodic Flush System), ROMS™️ (Reverse Osmosis Maintenance System & PDI™️ (Perpetual Deionization) as standard.
