The SV 27, 30, 78, 150, S. Atom, 85, and Interceptor have a very durable wet/dry filter located under the head. These are easily removed by the twist of a knob.

Interceptor, 85, S. Atom, & 78 systems use the same filter. They are very durable and last quite a long time if properly cleaned after each days use.

To clean the filters simply wash them out with a water hose and/or blow them out with an air hose.

If you are needing a more stringent filter for sensitive internal high dusting areas we offer a HEPA rated filter. We do not recommend this style for gutter cleaning.

High-efficiency particulate arrestance (HEPA),^[1]^[2] also sometimes called high-efficiency particulate arresting or high-efficiency particulate air, is a type of air filter. Filters meeting the HEPA standard have many applications, including use in medical facilities, automobiles, aircraft and homes. The filter must satisfy certain standards of efficiency such as those set by the United States Department of Energy (DOE). To qualify as HEPA by US government standards, an air filter must remove (from the air that passes through) 99.97% of particles that have a size of 0.3 µm.^[3]

Filter Maintenance:

We recommend cleaning at the end of each project and replacing every four months. Inspect your filter regularly for wear and tear, making sure to replace damaged filters immediately.

The filter traps any dust and airborne particles to prevent them from getting into the motor. Over time the filter can become clogged which will restrict the air flow getting into the system. A dirty filter can lead to a loss of power so make sure you keep clean.
