Until now, roof cleaning has always been a job that presents many challenges, either with costly forms of safe access, with the hire of scaffolding or powered access, and once you have gained access, the need to remove moss or lichen, before applying a biocide to kill the organic life living on there.

The NEW Ionic Roof Wand ™ offers a safe form of access that allows the operative to work from the safety of the ground, to not only remove moss and lichen, but leave the tiles clean and the roof looking like new.

The uniquely patented, high pressure Roof Wand ™ with turbo nozzles, allows for fast coverage of cleaning. The nozzles rotate at high speed to increase both the intensity and cleaning area of the spray.

As water is forced down onto the surface, it creates a hovering action which allows the operative to easily direct and control to wash down a roof.

The Roof Wand ™ is used with a telescopic mast, that allows the operative to gain access over roofs and difficult to access areas with ease and with limited effort.

Components:

The three components that make up this solution are:

• Trolley 
• Mast
• Pole Kit

For the trolley there are two options available:  Pumped and non-pumped. The pumped version allows the operator to use the trolley as a pure water reservoir for window cleaning.  Pure water production system not included.

PLEASE NOTE: Pressure Washer (not included)

The ideal pressure washer will be approximately 3000 psi, 5 GPM and the roof wand will reach approximately 60 ft high.

PLEASE NOTE: This does not include a pressure washer. If you do not currently own one then you will need to purchase one. Pressure Washer specifications should be a minimum of 3000psi and 5 Gallons Per Minute (GPM).

The trolley is supplied with a 12v 22amp hour battery that will need connecting under the black cover (remove the screws to access the battery). The battery needs to be charged after every use using a 110v battery charger supplied. The remote FOB will also require charging after every use, this just plugs into a USB port using the short black cable provided.

The SkyVac®️ SkyScraper is the world's most efficient moss removal system which eliminates the danger of climbing on roofs to remove unsightly moss.

Here you can choose one of three telescopic SkyPoles to be bundled with your SkyScraper. Please choose a 24ft, 34ft, or 44ft reach sized pole.

Simply select the blade to suit the roof tile profile, attach it to a telescopic pole (like the SkyPole) position at the top of the roof and pull down towards you to quickly and effectively remove moss.

“Is there anything that I can use to get moss at the edge of a roof tile?”

YES!  Our NEW Skyscraper® wire roof cleaning brush is exactly what you need.  The carbon steel bristles get right in the tile edges and overhangs, giving that stubborn moss build off, the brush off.  For thorough results, and getting moss out of those nooks and crannies, this brush is a must. 

The Skyscraper® Wire Brush can be attached to a telescopic pole using the angled connector (provided). It can also be attached to the SkyVac®️ Elite Poles using the SkyVac®️ Elite Multi Connector.

How do I clean the roof tiles?

To clean roof tiles, we recommend the Skyscraper® Head and Blades - which has a choice of 11 blade profiles to match the shape of your roof tile project AND includes the brush.

Attach the Skyscraper® Head and Blades, or the Wire Roof Cleaning brush to a telescopic pole to access your roof cleaning project.

Where is the roof brush useful?
The stiff wire bristles mean you can access areas that can’t be thoroughly cleaned with the bladed system – such as edges, joins and overlaps.

1) Ridge Tile: A common site of moss build up.

2) Roof Gable or Rake / Drip Edge of Dormer windows: Crumbs can form on the tiles at the outer edge of the roofs or Dormer windows.

3) Valley Gutter Edging: Prone to moss build up as rain runs into the gutter.

4) Around the Chimney and the flashing.

Customised Cleaning:

The Skyscraper Head is multi-directional and adjustable to suit the angle of the roof. Simply adjust the locking lever and angle crank. Tilt the Head to accommodate your working angle- this is particularly useful on sloped roofs such as dormer windows!

The Skyscraper Head makes it easy to swap between your brushes and blades. Simply slot your selected tool into the head, then insert and tighten the screws and nuts with the included spanners and Alan keys to hold it in place!
