Mosmatic – Terms and Conditions of Sale

By placing an order or instructing Mosmatic Corporation to begin engineering, procurement, manufacturing, or shipment, the buyer agrees to the following Terms and Conditions. Any additional or conflicting terms submitted by the buyer will not apply unless explicitly accepted in writing by an authorized representative of Mosmatic Corporation.


Prices

All prices are subject to change without notice. Taxes such as sales, excise, or value-added taxes are not included in the price and will be billed separately when applicable.


Shipping

  • Orders ship via UPS Ground unless otherwise specified.
  • Custom, oversized, or special-order products may require special packaging.
  • The buyer must inspect shipments upon arrival. Any damage must be reported to Mosmatic Corporation within 48 hours.
  • Title and risk of loss transfer to the buyer once the shipment leaves Mosmatic’s facility.
  • Mosmatic is not responsible for delays due to events beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, transportation disruptions, labor disputes).
  • Shipping dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Returns

  • All returns require prior authorization and a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  • Returned goods must be in resalable condition.
  • A 15% restocking fee applies to non-defective returns.
  • Products with manufacturer defects are exempt from restocking fees.

Limitation of Liability

Mosmatic’s liability is limited to the cost of the goods involved in any claim. Mosmatic is not liable for labor charges, installation costs, or any special, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or revenue. Technical advice does not create additional liability.


Limited Warranty (Prorated 6-Month Coverage)

Mosmatic warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, installation, and maintenance for a period of six (6) months from the date of purchase. This warranty is provided on a prorated basis, as outlined below:

Prorated Warranty Coverage

  • Months 0–1:
    100% coverage on parts and labor for repair or replacement.
  • Months 2–3:
    75% coverage on parts and labor (customer pays 25%).
  • Months 4–5:
    50% coverage on parts and labor (customer pays 50%).
  • Month 6:
    25% coverage on parts and labor (customer pays 75%).

Mosmatic will repair or replace the product at its discretion in accordance with the prorated schedule above. All claims must be evaluated and approved by Mosmatic.

What Is NOT Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Misuse, mishandling, improper installation, neglect, or abuse
  • Damage resulting from improper or insufficient maintenance
  • Environmental damage or Acts of God
  • Consumable or wear items (unless explicitly stated otherwise)
  • Costs not included in the prorated labor coverage, including travel, downtime, or indirect labor
  • Any incidental or consequential damages associated with warranty claims

Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Technical assistance from Mosmatic does not extend or modify warranty terms.


General Information

  • Product Availability: Not all products are stocked at every service center.
  • Governing Law: All orders are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
  • Catalog Validity: This catalog supersedes all previous versions.
  • Technical Modifications: Mosmatic reserves the right to modify product specifications without prior notice.
  • Custom Products: Users are responsible for the safe and effective use of custom-designed items.
  • Accuracy: Technical data is provided for recommendation purposes. Written confirmation is available upon request.

Privacy Policy

Your personal information is never sold or rented to third parties.

Information is used to:

  • Complete purchase transactions
  • Provide requested services
  • Send catalogs and promotional offers
  • Communicate order status and updates

For credit card purchases, Mosmatic collects only the billing and shipment details necessary to complete the transaction.


Safety Notice

Always wear appropriate protective equipment—such as safety glasses and gloves—when operating high-pressure tools. Ensure installation and use are performed by trained and experienced personnel. Follow all safety recommendations provided by the manufacturer of the high-pressure equipment. The user is responsible for safe operation.

Filing a Claim

To file a claim, simply submit this form. We may request photos or videos for verification. Since most claims are minor, let us assist you before proceeding.

Repair and Shipping Costs

If a repair is required, the customer is responsible for return shipping, including proper packaging and insurance. Claims for lost or damaged items are the responsibility of the customer and must be filed directly with the shipping carrier. Shipping costs for replacement parts are the customer's responsibility unless waived.

 *A Return Authorization Number is required and will be provided after submitting the claim form and once the issue is confirmed.

We offer a limited time 14 day return period (from date of receipt) on all NEW, UNUSED products. There is a 15% restocking fee for returned items, unless otherwise specified.

For urgent issues, you may buy a replacement unit or part for quick fulfillment. If the warranty applies, you’ll be reimbursed.
