The Foamion™ is the compact, cost-effective companion to the Thermion™ system—designed specifically for soft washing applications. Built to integrate seamlessly with your existing Ionic Reach & Wash® System, Foamion™ allows professionals to mix and apply cleaning chemicals such as Sodium Hypochlorite and biocides directly at the point of use.

Perfect for tackling algae infestations, moss removal, and black spot treatment on surfaces like render, plastics, roofs, patios, and driveways, Foamion™ ensures superior cleaning performance with minimal water and chemical use.

By applying solutions as foam, the system delivers extended dwell time, optimized chemical activation, and reduced runoff. When combined with hot pure water from a Thermopure™ system (up to 60°C), Foamion™ further enhances cleaning power while minimizing environmental impact.

Easily retro-fitted into most van installations, the Foamion™ connects safely through a non-return valve, preventing chemical contamination of your pure water system. Its battery-powered, self-contained design enables simultaneous soft washing and window cleaning—streamlining operations for maximum productivity.

2 × 150Ah 12V Lead Acid batteries or 2 × 105Ah Lifos LiFePO₄ batteries.

Foamion™ is a soft-wash foam-application system that mixes water, cleaning chemicals and air to generate a foam application. The foam allows longer dwell time, better chemical activation and reduced water usage, making it effective for treating surfaces such as algae-infested render, roof tiles, patios, driveways and more.

Foamion™ is ideal for soft-washing tasks such as treating algae, moss, black-spot, render/plastics, roof tiles, patios/paths, and for surfacing treatments where low-pressure foam makes sense. It can also be used in tandem with window-cleaning systems when fitted appropriately.

You can use foam-compatible chemical treatments such as sodium hypochlorite, biocides and other soft-wash detergents. The system allows chemical feed at point-of-use and supports mix ratios from roughly 19:1 (5%) down to about 3:1 (25%) depending on the job.

For the portable version you’ll need batteries — for example, two 150 Ah 12 V lead acid batteries or two 105 Ah LiFePO₄ (lithium iron phosphate) batteries are typically used. Some listings supply the unit without batteries, so battery procurement is required separately.

Yes — the van-mounted Foamion version is designed to be retrofitted and paired with many existing van installations of the Reach & Wash® system. It draws a pumped water feed via a non-return valve so the pure-water system for window cleaning remains uncontaminated.

Regular maintenance such as checking the chemical feed lines, air-compressor operation, battery health (for the portable version), hoses and connections, and ensuring no chemical contamination in the pure-water feed (for van-mounted version) are key. You should follow the manufacturer’s manual for schedule and procedures.
